How to plant seeds from daylilies?

I have some yellow daylilies this year. One clump produced 2 large bulbous growths on the top of one stem after the flowering period. Inside the growth are 2 black seeds.

Does anyone know if the seeds can be potted indoors for plants and blooms in the winter?

Check out the web site www.landspro.com They have a step by step (illustrated) instruction page on growing daylilies from seed.

As for 'forcing' them in the winter, I don't see why it wouldn't work if done properly.

Hope this helps !
Reply:i can answer part of that -- the first part -- take the seeds out of the pods and you have to dry them before planting -- but thats as far as i can go .....

good luck!
