Okay, so I'm 14, and I'm growing a plant in a pot on my balcony. I bought mixed flower seeds, and about a week or so ago the seedlings sprouted. The shoots are growing well.. but there are these green seeds or round things around the pot now, and I have no idea what they are, and whether they will harm my plant
Heeelllpp? I don't think the green balls are any of the seeds I planted, because there were not that many in the packet
Green Seeds?
The seeds you bought probably have a soiless growing medium in them..these green balls are a slow release fertilizer to feed the plants as they grow..this is a good thing..not a bad thing..either this are the potting soil you bought has these slow release fertilizer balls in them...
Reply:If they are coming up out of the soil they are just sprouts from some plant seeds that were in the soil and that got activated by the water and warmth. Let them grow a while and see what they look like. Then If you are sure they're not your seeds sprouting pull them out.
