Reply:A plant will grow from the seed, and the plant will form a bulb in the fall.
Reply:They start small from seed. It takes about 2 years bbefore they bloom. But you can do it. I have grown Amaryllis from seed. It just takes a while. The first year you want to keep them indoors as they have no bulb yet. The second year you can plant them outside, although you will probably not get a bloom for another season.
