of course, a sun-flower. how else do you think these things grow, birthed from the womb of the mother sun flower?
If you plant Davids sunflower seeds will it produce a flower?
Most say, yes...but I'ts only possible, not guaranteed, due to the fact that they are dried/toasted and salted.
Reply:Yes, We spilled some in my yard and wee diodn't clean them up and it rain for several days. and wash them into my flower bed. W new pant started to grow and I wansn't sure what it was so I left it and Sure enough I had some sunflower but they we little and were pretty.
Reply:No. The germ was killed by heat when they were roasted.

I have cracked David's seeds and hurried a handful of seeds in my front yard and grew large beautiful healthy sunflower plants since I was a kid. I never used store bought planting seeds or special techniques. I took the seeds out, salted and roasted then in the oven and they tasted the same. Now, I am teaching the kids how to do it as well. We will see if I still have the magic touch.
