Sun flower seeds fattening enough?

i weigh about 171,

Sun flower seeds gives me something to do and

i eat them all day.

i want to get down to atleast 140.

if i ate them

and only drank water/healthy drinks.

would it work?

It might work to a certain extent -- once U are bored of eating the sunflower seeds, there's the danger of binge eating on your favorite foods.

U could alternate diff. types of foods -- celery sticks, carrots, boiled beans, bean sprouts %26amp; drink plenty of water along w/ exercise -- could be walking 20-25 min @ a stretch %26amp; doing it twice in a day.

you need other nutrients from other foods than just seeds to stay healthy and lose weight.



i suggest just eating healthier and exercising more.
Reply:No.. you need a more balanced diet..your body will start storing the fat if you eat so little instead of losing it!...and you will have zero energy.... eat 1200 calories a day.. a variety of healthy foods...... I have lost 50 lbs by just walking and eating 1200 calories a day in the last 6 months............and LOTS of water :) ... Of course you can still incorporate sunflower seeds in your diet .. Yum I LOVE them on a chicken salad!
Reply:most nuts are high in fats, but they are good fats. not like meat and grease. if you eat a lot of sunflower seeds, witch would be a LOT to keep a 170 pound person from starving, you would have eaten a lot of fat, and even tho it isnt bad fat its still fat.



stick to watching the junk food intake and do some exercise 3 or 4 times a week. even if its just walking 2 miles or jogging 1
